Why is the mind such a place of contempt in the scriptures? Why is the mind considered to be such the “Strong Device” when dealing with the three parts of our being? Well, it’s because the mind is the place where we all live and dwell. It’s the inner temple… the inside of the house. It is the very thing that made us fall from grace with Yahawah. Our minds, left to its own thinking, will only want to please itself, and do for itself. This self-serving behavior will only lead to an unhealthy life. Paul wrote to the Romans concerning the mind and its mental state and power, that the mind has over the flesh (your body). In the eighth chapter of Romans, Paul said, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Yahwashi (Christ Jesus), who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”. Paul first makes it very clear that we must not walk in carnality. If we are left to ourselves, we will fall victim to our emotions and feelings. This intern will drive us to react more instinctively and not flow in the spirit of Yahawah. Cane killed Able out of his jealousy: in this mind he gave Yahawah what He wanted. But he was not open enough to see or hear the voice of Yahawah and to know what was pleasing to Him and this caused the second major act of carnality in the scriptures. Carnality desires and seeks out pleasure of any kind. Not caring about the consequences of the action, it fulfills only the present need at hand. It wants to find comfort in whatever feels satisfying. Having control over your mind is crucial when walking with Yahawah because there can only be one leading the relationship. It will be you or Yahawah. Yahawashi states that we cannot serve two masters, and a double-minded man cannot be a part of Yahawah's kingdom. Paul continues by saying in verse two “For the law of the Spirit of life in Yahawashi hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh”. Yahawashi's life giving sacrifice allows us to become free from ourselves. But, to do this, it is a daily acknowledgement to see that your flesh must be controlled at all times. Some examples are unmanaged stress, overeating, not praying, laziness and peer pressure, are just a few to name. All of these examples are in fact nested in the carnality of your mind. Allowing the grace of Yahawah to guide you, will lead you to all truths and this should be your desire. The Holy Spirit came to man after Yahawashi left the earth to lead and guide us. The carnal mind is a direct enemy to the Holy Spirit. Remember, the mind leads the body, and so a man thinks, he shall do… We must have the mind of Yahwashi. Bringing the mind to the place of repentance, will lead you to a spiritual place of humility, and the humble mind is where Yahawah's Holy Spirit will abide. The guidance you will receive will grow and strengthen you in every way. A strong temple has to have a harden base of a clean temple and a clear mind. When our minds are open to the Holy Spirit the voice of Yahawah can be heard and we can move according to His will. Being in this state of mind, Yahawah can use us as vessels to change lives, heal the sick and do many great things needed in the Kingdom of Yahawah.
