Keeping the Sabbath
Yahawah Hasn’t Changed His Word?
By Pastor Victor Archie

What if I told you Yahawah was the same yesterday, today and forever…? What if I told you Yahawah’s Word would not return unto Him void…? What if I said Yahawah couldn’t lie…? If I said these things you would all agree they are true, and could be proven by scripture (Hebrews 13:8; Ezekiel 24:14; Psalm 89:35). Understanding Yahawah is unmovable in His Word and has laid down His will from the beginning, helps us to know the importance of everything He has said.
The 4th Commandment
One of the only commandments given by Yahawah deals with a date and time; the law given was blessed by Yahawah and then removed from the scriptures by the gentiles. In the scriptures there is no place where Yahawah told anyone to change the Sabbath Day. In Exodus 20:8-11, verse 8 Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahawah. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days Yahawah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore, Yahawah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

So we know the Sabbath was blessed by Yahawah and made Holy. Although, Yahawah blessed and made this day, man decided approximately 300 years after the death of Yahawashi (Jesus) they would change the “Day of the Lord” to the first day, forsaking the 7th day of rest & worship. Just to be clear… It’s not wrong to go and worship in church on Sunday or any other day of the week, but it is a sin not keep the Sabbath Holy, and that day is Saturday. To be more precise, the Hebrew days begins at sunset, the evening before. Friday evening, at sunset, is the birth of the Sabbath, until sunset Saturday evening. This timeline has been with controversy for some believers for some time. But, it is based on scripture and the Hebraic calendars, in which this law was given.

In Genesis 1:3-5 we see where Yahawah set into motion the day, stating: 3 And Yahawah said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 Yahawah saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 Yahawah called the light "day," and the darkness He called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.

We see this repeat over and over for each day of creation, “The Evening and the Morning”. You have to understand in the beginning there was no light. Until Yahawah called it into existence, it was only the WORD, Yahawah and the waters upon the face of the deep (The Void). Then He called light to come forth and it did with much greatness. This is why we worship and blessed the Sabbath from evening to evening, from sunset to sunset. The evening was before the morning of each day, just as it was when Yahawah created all things.

Yahawah speaks to Moses regarding the High Sabbath in Leviticus 23:31-32: 31 You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; wherever you live (this also includes and speaks to the lost generations of the tribe of Judah in America). 32 It is a day of Sabbath rest for you and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your Sabbath.

Yahawah clearly states evening to evening. I understand many may say, “Then why does our day begin at 12:00 AM, midnight? Well, the Romans changed the time of the day, from sunset to 12:00 midnight according to their own doctrines and scientific reasonings. You can search Wikipedia on the creation of 12 midnight and see this history. The earth’s calendar days viewed by the sunset and sunrise of day acts and moves like a beating heart. Changing this God given synchronization with the earth again breaks His design for man. This Roman timeline is based on the solar events and center of night of all days (thus “Midnight" a.k.a middle of night), rather than the words of Yahawah. He set things by the light, and the connection to His divine creation and man changed it to begin in a period of total darkness. The children of Yahawah did not follow these changes. Until the destruction the Hebrew’s way of life, many years after Yahawashi and the disciples were long gone, this day was kept. You see, Yahawashi and the elect kept the Sabbath and so did the Hebrews, the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. causing the surviving Hebrews refugees to flee into the neighboring countries.

In Mark 16:9, Yahawashi honors the Sabbath when he stayed in the grave until the Sabbath was over. Verse 9; Yahawashi had risen early the first day of the week, and appeared first to Mary Magdalene.

In Matthew 28 verses 1-7 the scriptures gives even more detail. Verse 1: In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of Yahawah descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Yeshua, which was crucified. 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the LORD lay. 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

Now we see on the ending of the Sabbath, before the transition, to the first day of the week Yahawashi rose. Mary reported this to the disciples that early Sunday morning, according to the days of the sunset starting the day. Remember, they were still keeping sunset to sunset as their days. So we see Yahawashi, even until death, honored the Sabbath Day Yahawah placed into order from the beginning. He never changed His WORD nor the Sabbath.

If The Father (Yahawah) made it to be, and His son honored it until death, what place does man (as children) have to change what was set in motion from the beginning and forever? We don’t… the Roman Church again changed the day of worship to Sunday. Catholicism changed most of the important dates in the scriptures to overlay with their own doctrines. On March 7th, 321 A.D. the Roman Emperor, Constantine, passed his famous national Sunday Law: On the venerable day of the sun let the magistrate and people residing in the cities rest and let all workshops be closed (this information can be found in the Schaft’s History of the Christian Church, volume 3, chapter 75). The “official” change was in 325 A.D. by Pope Sylvester, officially naming Sunday “The Lord’s Day” and in A.D. 338 Eusebius, the court bishop of Constantine wrote “All things whatsoever that it was the duty to do on the Sabbath (the 7th day) we (Constantine, Eusebius and other bishops) have transferred to the Lord’s Day (the first day of the week) as more appropriately belonging to it.” Also in 336 A.D. the Catholic Church in the Council of Laodicea transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday. The church substituted Sunday for Saturday because Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday and the Holy Ghost descended upon the Apostles on a Sunday. When asked by what authority they had to do this they replied, “By the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her”. I would agree that it wasn’t Yahawah who gave them this authority, rather their own creation of Yahawashi.
I would like to also point out other concerns in their statement: When did Yahawashi tell the Gentiles or anyone of his disciples to change the Lord’s Day? From the beginning this was established before man was even able to understand the father and why this day was blessed. In 1st John 3-4 states transgression of the law is sin. As this is clearly breaking commandments: The Sabbath and bearing a false witness, by changing the scriptures/removing what was written. So… can we steal, kill or break
the commandments of Yahawah and be righteous??? The grace of Yahawashi's blood will cover the innocent and the punishment of the laws was removed. However, for those who knowingly and still walk in the act of rebellion will be leftover for Yahawah to handle in the great Day of Judgment.

Daniel also spoke about this change in the 7th chapter verses: 24-25 it states: 24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws.

“The Church” changed the time and day and made another proclamation during the Catechism of the Council of Trent (information can be found on Wikipedia under the Counter-Reformation during the 1545-1563 and ended in 1781 with the Patent of Toleration). They also repeated this again on February 5th 1950. The Catholic Church requested for the Protestants to accept Sunday, rather than Saturday, as the day for public worship to align with the change. Although there has been many changes to the day of Yahawashi's rest, we cannot blindly accept this false doctrine.
Isaiah prophesied Yahawashi will reestablish the Sabbath when he returns. Knowing even then the people would be misled, turning away from what was set a part and Holy.
In Isaiah 66:22-23, For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
In Isaiah 8:16, Yahawah stated bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. I have questions here… Who are His disciples that are sealed with His law?? We know the law is the commandments. Also, Ezekiel 20:20 He tells us to Hallow His Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am Yahawah. Again in Hebrews 4:10 it states, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as Yahawah did from his.
We must get back to what was lost…
Some people will say man was not made for Sabbath, but the Sabbath for man. This is true as Yahawashi clearly made plain to the Pharisees. He made this reference as they were using the scriptures and laws to judge the people and not have any real thought to honor Yahawah. People love power and control!
Mark 2:23-28 And it came to pass, that He (Yahawashi) went through the corn fields on the Sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. 24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Sabbath day that which is not lawful? 25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? 26 How he went into the house of Yahawah in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? 27And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. We are the Keepers of the Sabbath.
This doesn’t mean we don’t keep the Sabbath; Yahawashi was hungry needed food and wasn’t going to go hungry due to it being the Sabbath. This blessed day is for us to keep and live by, but if you have an issue or problem we should not feel bad that we have to fulfill a need. Changing the day of rest has nothing to do with you having to work by a need on the Sabbath. It is said Christians today believe the disciples of Yahawashi changed the Sabbath day, after his death. They begin to meet and worship on Sunday and on the day of Pentecost. Even with the beautiful moment in time with the entrance of the Holy Spirit dwelling among men, the disciples still kept the Sabbath and 90% of Christians have no idea this is the case. This was a Roman invention, not our Lord's. Sunday worship is not the issue, but not honoring the Sabbath Day, or keeping it Holy, is breaking the Most High's command and is disobedience.
In Romans 6:1-7 is says, what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yahawashi were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Church, we need to die to the sinful ways of the Roman church being again baptism to His death, burial and resurrection, holding to His truths not the changing from His Holy Commandments.
Does the New Covenant eliminate the Sabbath?
In Hebrews 10:16-17 it says, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith Yahawah, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. This says nothing about changing the commandments.
In Acts 18:4-5 Paul was in the temple every Sabbath teaching. 4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. 5 And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Yahawashi was the Messiah.
Paul was very mindful of the gentiles and them receiving the teaching of Yahawashi. He understood they didn't have the knowledge of the Hebraic laws and teaching. As they entered the faith the gentiles learned to keep the Sabbath.
In Roman 2:14-15 says, For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which showed the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.
This is why he spoke to the gentiles saying in Colossians 2:16-17; verse 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
The gentiles that were touch by Yahawashi wanted more than anything to learn of the Father and of the Messiah’s example. But, they were coming from a different way of worshipping their pagan deities. Paul understood this and was bringing them into the faith. If Yahawah laws are in your heart you will keep them daily. Some say this shows Paul didn’t keep the Sabbath and this is another reason why we don’t. Well you can see quite clearly that Paul was not only keeping the Sabbath but he was avidly teaching and preaching the gospels on the Sabbath, in the temple. Another point to make is that in Acts chapters 18-25, Paul was being accused of breaking the Sabbath & The Laws.
In the 24th chapter verse 10-18 reads: 10 When the governor motioned for him to speak, Paul replied: "I know that for a number of years you have been a judge over this nation; so I gladly make my defense. 11 You can easily verify that no more than twelve days ago I went up to Jerusalem to worship. 12 My accusers did not find me arguing with anyone at the temple, or stirring up a crowd in the synagogues or anywhere else in the city. 13 And they cannot prove to you the charges they are now making against me. 14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: 15 And have hope toward
God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. 16 So, I strive always to keep my conscience clear before Yahawah and man. 17 "After an absence of several years, I came to Jerusalem to bring my people gifts for the poor and to present offerings. 18 I was ceremonially clean when they found me in the temple courts doing this. Again, Paul did not go against the Sabbath.
Is the Sabbath only for the Jews?
Although we live in the age of the Gentile, Yahawah's laws never change. This commandment was passed down from Adam. There was no Hebrew/Jews at that time. On the 7th day of creation this was established. In Genesis 2:1-3 it reads; 1 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. 2 By the seventh day Yahawah had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then Yahawah blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
So, when the Sabbath was put into place it was before the fall of Adam, corruption of man, the writings of Enoch, the great deluge, Noah, Abraham and Jacob. There was no Hebrew nation. The Sabbath is for all that keep and honor His commandments.
Did Yahawah's death change the Sabbath?
A fact that Yahawah’s word doesn’t change is He sent Yahawahshi to cover and be the sacrifice as He could have just made it be (and that would change His word), but because He will not change His word, He took on flesh and became man. Yahawashi even kept the Sabbath in death, as he rested in the tomb until the dawn of the new day. As the sun was setting on Saturday, he transitioned with the ending of the Sabbath, fulfilling the day of rest. Keeping the Holy Day of Rest… just as Yahawah made the ground holy in Exodus 3:2-5 Reads:
Verse 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, Yahawashi called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
Yahawah blessed the ground and made it Holy. The Sabbath was blessed and is the day of holiness. Yahawashi's death fulfilled the law and opened the new covenant. No longer shall we be under the laws of death and physical punishment for not keeping the commandments. This fulfillment speaks to the last offering of sacrifice, Yahawashi dying for our sins. Our sins were paid with His blood and death. We must all walk the walk and will see Yahawah on judgment, and shall our names be written in the book? The old sacrifice lost in value to the people and Yahawah did away with it, holding everyone accountable. This was the fulfillment of the law. But, we still have to keep His direct laws dealing with one salvation and obedience. It is not for sin to abide within us. The Holy Spirit descended down to man to lead and guide us into all truths. That means the laws of Yahawah are still Yahawashi's laws and should be in everyone’s hearts that love the Father.
Remember in Romans 6:1-2 it says, what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Seeking after the Father and being led by the Holy Spirit will give you the understanding, if you’re willing to follow. The spirit only guides you… it will not MAKE you… we must follow. If we love and live by the grace and mercy of Yahawah, we will see keeping ourselves a holy and presentable sacrificial temple. The key is to keep the commandments of Yahawah. The blood sacrificed was fulfilled with Yahawashi… Colossians 2:16-17 the Annual Sabbath, which was directed by sacrifice, was done away with these Sabbaths where the religious feast days for sacrifice. These were shadow Sabbath days.
Scriptures to read in the New Testament regarding the Sabbath:
Luke 23:56, Act 13:42 -44, Revelation 1:10, Isaiah 58:13, Hebrews 4:4-10, Matthew 24:20, Revelation 14:6-7, Isaiah 66:22-23, James 2:10, Romans 6:23, 1st John3-4
Keeping the Sabbath and the Commandments
Let’s review Yahawashi's words and see how He spoke to the people in those times.
Matthew 5:8-25; For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25 Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
Romans 14:1-10; Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for Yahawah hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for Yahawah is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth Yahawah thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth Yahawah thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Revelation 22:14. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the trees of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
